Access to Rokko Island and Sannomiya

The Airport Limousine bus from the Kansai International airport takes you to Rokko Island (60 minutes) and Sannomiya (80 minutes). To reach the Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers and Hotel Plaza Kobe, take the Limousine bus which stops at the Rokko Island before arriving at Sannomiya. (More buses directly go to Sannomiya without stopping at the Rokko Island.) The time table of the Limousine bus is available at the web site. This is the best transportation to reach the Rokko Island and Sannomiya.

Access to the HIRAO Seminar House

From the Rokko Island, take the monorail (Rokko Liner) at the Island Center station to reach the JR Sumiyoshi station (10 minutes) and walk to the HIRAO Seminar House (10-15 minutes) which is located on the mountain side (north) of the station. From Sannomiya, take the Japan Railway (JR) to the JR Sumiyoshi station (10 minutes). A local map is available at the web site.

Scientific Program

All the programs in the plenary, parallel, and special sessions are available at the web site. Please check the date, time, and symposium site. The HIRAO Seminar House is used for the special sessions on Monday Nov. 16, while the ORBIS Hall (5th floor) and Seminar Room 1 (4th floor) of the Kobe Fashion Museum are used for the plenary and parallel sessions from Tuesday Nov. 17 to Friday Nov. 20.

Registration

The registration desk is open at the HIRAO Seminar House for the whole day of Monday (Nov. 16) and at the ORBIS Hall from Tuesday to Friday. The registration fee (25,000 yen) has to be paid in cash.

Proceedings

The conference proceedings will be published from AIP conference series. All of the talks and posters are expected to be included in the proceedings. The form of Transfer of Copyright Agreement has to be signed and presented at the registration desk. The form can be downloaded from http://proceedings.aip.org/proceedings/tca_blank.pdf. The number of pages depends on the time allocated for talks. The submission dead line is 31th Jan. 2010.

Posters

All posters can be displayed at the Gallery (4th floor) of the Kobe Fashion Museum during 4 days from Tuesday (Nov. 17) to Friday (Nov. 20). The poster sessions are held from 17:00 to 18:00 for 3 days on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All posters can be set up on the poster panels any time before 17:00 on Tuesday and must be removed at 18:00 on Friday.
